Maybe it was the heat, but a ballroom full of developers and other real estate types didn't seem to warm up to several mass-transit experts who sang the praises of light rail, monorail and streetcars at an early morning meeting last week.
You could tell by the eye-rolling and shaking of heads among the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties members at the Bellevue Athletic Club.
