We found it interesting last week when Hines' Rob Hollister mentioned that his company is interested in pursuing not only office investments Hines' traditional niche in the Northwest but housing as well.
So imagine our intrigue when the rumor mill began churning with reports that Hines one of the largest privately held real estate development, investment and management companies in the world is taking a run at the prime site at Second and Pine in downtown Seattle. Today, the parcel is a surface parking lot, due west of Macy's garage.
