Cindy Runger, a local attorney and investment advisor, will serve as president over the next year for Rotary Club of Seattle. Runger takes over Wednesday for Mark Wright.

Jaime Cole joined Ogletree Deakins' Seattle office as of counsel, focusing on employment law. Cole was of counsel and COO at Brown & Sterling in Fall City, and in-house counsel for Regis Corp. in Minneapolis.

Greyhound Dungeness Line

Greyhound is now operating the Dungeness Line bus route from Seattle to Port Angeles, including stops in Edmonds, Kingston, Port Townsend and Sequim. The route was operated by Olympic Bus Lines. It is part of Travel Washington, an intercity bus program managed by the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Mark Holmes joined HNTB Corp. as construction services deputy director for the Northwest. Holmes is based in Bellevue and manages construction projects for the city of Seattle and other clients. He has done project management for interchange, arterial and local roads, utilities and site grading. He has led teams on projects that include Snoqualmie's Tokul Road Roundabout/SR 202 improvements. HNTB is an infrastructure firm.

Loynd

DLR Group promoted Erica Loynd to Northwest regional justice and civic leader for the Seattle and Portland studios, and Lori Coppenrath to national justice planner. They work in the Seattle office. Loynd joined the firm 14 years ago, and has been a leader there and with the national AIA Academy of Architecture for Justice. Her work includes Skagit County Jail in Mount Vernon. Coppenrath, a principal, joined DLR 19 years ago, and has been a programmer and planner for public safety centers, courts, detention and corrections facilities and support spaces. She will be a resource to DLR's offices in the U.S. The firm provides architecture, engineering, interiors, planning and building optimization.

In its Seattle office, Aspect Consulting hired Jon Turk as an associate hydrogeologist, James Bush as a project hydrogeologist, Meilani Lanier-Kamaha'o as a project geologist, Amelia Oates as a staff geologist and Jackson Lundgren as a field technician. The firm hired Aaron Fitts as a staff geologist in Bellingham, and Jasmin Jamal as staff engineer and Mike Mills as a project software developer in Portland. In Bend, it hired John Warinner as an associate water resources engineer, Chris Bellusci as an associate business systems architect and Blair Deaver as a senior geospatial data scientist. Turk has over 16 years of experience focused on quantitative hydrogeology for water, wastewater and industrial markets for public agencies and private industry. He will support the Seattle office and work with clients in the south Puget Sound area. Bush has seven years of hydrogeologic and numerical modeling experience for groundwater projects. Lanier-Kamaha'o has over four years of experience conducting environmental field work and analysis for environmental due diligence and investigation projects. Oates has a master's in applied geoscience from the University of Washington and nearly two years of experience conducting Phase I ESAs, installing groundwater monitoring wells, soil vapor sampling and performing remedial excavation oversight. Lundgren holds a bachelor's in geology from Western Washington University, and supports Aspect's solid waste and environmental remediation field programs. Fitts has over five years of experience working on and managing engineering geology, geotechnical and construction oversight. Jamal has a master's in environmental engineering from California State University, Fullerton and over a year of experience supporting groundwater and surface water projects. Mills has a computer science and math background, and experience in web and database development, including statistical analysis and mobile application development for earth science and engineering projects. Warinner is a water resources engineer and water rights examiner with over 30 years of experience in water supply, water rights and GIS projects for irrigators, public agencies and private industry. Bellusci has 20 years of experience in IT/software development, support and product management, including helping clients plan for and build technology-driven solutions related to earth science problems. Deaver's geospatial experience includes open source GIS, scripting, mobile development, dev ops, data management and enterprise platforms. He is a Esri GIS professional and is Amazon Web Services certified. Aspect provides environmental, geotechnical, water resources, stormwater and GIS services in the Northwest and Western U.S.

In Seattle, Bassetti Architects promoted Jean Stolzman to associate. Stolzman manages complex projects and supports staff planning. She recently played a vital role in helping bring in the Issaquah High School design/build project.

In Juneau, Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association CFO Luke Fanning is taking over as CEO from Larry Cotter. Prior to joining APICDA, Fanning was vice president and regional manager for First National Bank Alaska. He captains a commercial fishing boat in his spare time. Cotter announced his retirement late last year. APICDA is a nonprofit that helps rural villages.

Seattle-based Freestone Capital Management hired David O'Neal as managing director of strategic growth initiatives. O'Neal has more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, technology and transportation logistics. He was COO at a North Carolina wealth management firm, and vice president of business development at a Seattle wealth management firm. Freestone is a wealth management firm with offices in Washington, Oregon and California.

MealPal

MealPal, an app that lets you order and pick up a restaurant meal, launched in Seattle. MealPal targets restaurants near large tech campuses and business districts, and has more than 150 eateries on board in downtown Seattle and South Lake Union. The lunch subscription is $6 a meal. MealPal operates in 16 cities worldwide.
