Embassy Development Co. has pushed back the start of construction on the first phase of its two-tower Denny Regrade condo project until mid-2010 given the reluctance of buyers to jump into the market these days, said company President Ryan Bosa.
The British Columbia-based firm is also scaling back the unit size because post-recession buyers expect lower price points than in the last real estate cycle, he said.
