When there's a big real estate deal in the Puget Sound region, it's a good bet CBRE broker Kevin Shannon is involved. Since 2007, he's and his team have worked on 19 sales here totaling more than $2.3 billion, including the West Coast's largest office deals for last three years: Schnitzer West's disposition of the Bravern Office Commons in 2010, and the company's 1918 Eighth and 818 Stewart towers in 2011; and Northwestern Mutual's sale this spring of Russell Investments Center.
Since 1996, he has sold and marketed more than $24 billion worth of properties. His first deal, in 1984, was a 20-year, $200,000 ground lease for Columbia Hamburgers in Carson, Calif., and the commission was $3,800.
