Jones Lang LaSalle has hired Daniel Jackson as an associate to focus on tenant and landlord representation in Kent Valley and south Seattle industrial markets. Jackson, who was a professional soccer player, started an online commerce company focused on youth sports and was director of sales for Korrio, a cloud-based service for organizing youth sports. Jones Lang LaSalle has more than 1,000 offices in 70 countries. It managed 2.6 billion square feet of space in 2012 and brokered $63 billion in transactions.

NAI Puget Sound Properties hired Matt Glade as a senior associate, specializing in industrial tenant representation in south Puget Sound. Glade was previously with Colliers International. He previously worked at Northwest Handling, which designs and makes equipment such as forklifts. NAI Puget Sound Properties has offices in Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma, and specializes in leasing and sales of office, retail and industrial properties.
SouthEast Effective Development, an affordable housing and arts nonprofit that focuses on Southeast Seattle, hired Everett-based Coast Real Estate Services to manage seven SEED properties in the region: Oregon Place apartments, Lilac Lodge, Charlestown apartments, Columbia Hotel apartments, 3904 Martin Luther King Jr. Way apartments, Nuuanu Pali apartments and Claremont apartments. Coast manages approximately 10,000 apartments and more than 5 million square feet of retail and office space.
Spokane-based Red Lion Hotels added Riverside Hotel in Boise to the Leo Hotel Collection, a portfolio of boutique, historic and destination hotels. The Riverside has 300 rooms on a 14-acre site near the Boise River, as well as 21,000 square feet of meeting space; an outdoor pool; outdoor chess and petanque courts; multiple restaurants and bars; and a concert venue. Red Lion launched the Leo division earlier this year. This is the second Leo hotel, joining the Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
The Washington chapter of NAIOP will hear about the Seattle waterfront project at the next meeting: 7 a.m. June 19 at the Four Seasons in Seattle. Maggie Walker, co-chair of the Central Waterfront Committee, and Marshall Foster, planning director for the city, will discuss the goals, timeline, design and impact on the community. The Urban Land Institute Northwest will hold an event about the importance of renovating and reusing historic buildings at 7 a.m. June 19 at the Arctic Club Seattle at 700 Third Ave. The speaker is David J. Brown, executive vice president and chief preservation office for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. He has more than 15 years of experience in redeveloping historic buildings. Seattle-based Dow Hotel Co. hired Rick Rogovin as vice president of hotel investments, a new position. Rogovin has more than 25 years of hotel investment experience, and rejoins Dow Hotel after a stint at Wells Fargo where he worked on hotel financing. In his previous role at Dow he was vice president of business development. Dow bought three properties in the last nine months, and President Murray Dow said it will be active over the next 12 to 18 months.
Associa's EMB Management, which provides services to homeowner associations and developers, added Bella Vista Heights condos in Redmond to its portfolio. Dallas-based Associa says it is North America's largest community association management firm, with 8,000 employees and more than 150 offices in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
