James Jamieson has joined Freeman Fong Architecture as a designer. Jamieson comes to the firm with eight years experience in construction and design. His previous work includes residential, multi-use, commercial, office and retail projects.
Seth Hale joins CollinsWoerman as an intern architect with experience in CAD documentation, project management, design and contract document preparation. Prior to joining CollinsWoerman, Hale gained experience with mixed-use, multi-family and commercial projects at CDA architects.
Marcy Myers joins as an intern architect with experience in architectural design, CAD documentation, architectural programming, and furniture design and construction. Prior to joining Collins Woerman, Myers worked for Building Performance Research Institute and DLZ Design.
Schreiber & Lane Architects announced that Ross Whitehead and Brett Ingham have been named associates.
Ingham recently completed the Plant Services Building at Olympic College in Bremerton. He is lead architect for the Vactor Building at the city of Seattle's Charles Street Complex and for security improvements at three Seattle police stations.
Whitehead has served as project architect for the Yakima Readiness Center, Bremerton Readiness Center and a number of projects at CWU. He is leading design of the 111,000-square-foot Aviation Readiness Center at Fort Lewis.
Schreiber & Lane Architects is a 14-person design engaged in a range of public work.
Zipper Zeman Associates of Lynnwood announced Yen-Vy Van has joined the firm as senior project geologist. She brings more than 15 years of experience in site characterization studies, environmental impact studies and has performed Level B and C hazardous waste investigations. Her experience also includes geologic and geotechnical evaluations, performing site reconnaissance, Phase II subsurface investigations and landslide investigations.
Kevin J. Howell joined the firm as geotechnical technician. Howell has field experience on projects such as a high-precision GPS geodetic experiment in the Eastern California shear zone area. He has also conducted stratigraphic analysis of flood terraces on the Danube and Tizsa rivers, including radiocarbon sampling.
Christopher Morgan, a principal with the architectural firm of Eco*Arch announced his firm has joined the U.S. Green Building Council and that he has become a LEED accredited professional. Morgan is the first Bellingham architect to achieve this.
Eco*Arch is an architectural firm focusing on green building and sustainable design.

Seattle's creative agency POP! has hired five new members. Jeff Barker, previously with Methodologie and The Retail Group, joined the client services team as business development associate. Kaci Clot was named marketing manager. Dan White, with over eight years of software engineering experience in the telecommunications and e-commerce industries, joined the systems integration team as technical director. Tom Waldman, a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, was named a developer on the software development team. Anthony Torrence, formerly a QA engineer for Nintendo and X-Box, was named lead quality assurance engineer.
Ex Officio, a Seattle-based manufacturer of outdoor and travel apparel, named Pat Nugent to a newly created senior management position focusing on merchandising and design. Nugent was previously vice president of production and vice president of merchandising for Cutter & Buck, and was owner and president of Pat Nugent Design. Nugent will head up product and inventory strategy.

CollinsWoerman, a Bellevue-based architecture, planning and design firm, announced the addition of Douglas Erickson, Jennifer Paris and Gary Edmonds to its 17-member science and technology teams.
Edmonds joins CollinsWoerman as director of technical architecture in its health care division. With a background in design delivery, building systems design and overall leadership, Edmond's responsibilities will include project management and architecture, training, continuing education and quality assurance.
As a senior project manager, Erickson brings 25 years of experience to CollinsWoerman with expertise in all phases of programming and design in biotech facilities and chemical and industrial plants. Erickson will be responsible for day-to-day project operations and client management.
Paris joins Collins Woerman as a senior laboratory planner with 10 years of experience in the conceptual issues involved with programming and laboratory planning and laboratory construction. She will serve as the project lead for programming and planning of laboratories in the science and technology division.

Borgeson's work for private sector clients includes single- and multi-family housing developments in many local cities and counties, including the master-planned communities of Talus and Issaquah Highlands, Third Avenue Bungalows, Liberty Ridge and Lakeland.
Schroeder's past projects include Shoreline Interurban Trail for the city of Shoreline and Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, an active-adult community by Shea Homes. She is presently designing Northridge Park, a 74-lot plat by Alexander Reed in Marysville and Issaquah Highlands' division 84/85.

Albores worked at Ann Beeman Architects, where he worked on new and remodeled homes. He joins the Seattle office to work on a large residence in California.
Distler recently received his master of architecture from the University of Washington. He joins the Seattle office as an intern architect to work on multiple projects.
