Kirk A. Harris was hired as a senior transportation engineer. Harris has 11 years experience, including planning, designing and managing public works transportation projects. Current projects include refinement of the Bellevue/Redmond-Overlake transportation study projects for the city of Redmond and the Fernan Lake Road DEIS in Kootenai County, Idaho, for the Federal Highway Administration.
Michael R. Birdsall was hired as a senior transportation planner. Birdsall's expertise is transportation planning, traffic engineering, travel forecast modeling and traffic operations modeling. Most of his 35-year career has been spent in the Pacific Northwest.
Pamela R. Heeke was hired as senior marketing coordinator. Heeke has eight years of experience in marketing and communications for professional service firms. She is responsible for public relations, presentation coaching, and proposal and roster coordination. She is a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services and serves on the organization's Outreach Committee.

Edgar joined Glosten in 1988 and has worked on vessel and marine systems projects during his tenure. He is currently leading a $100 million vessel construction effort. Edgar's corporate responsibilities include engineering and technology management.
Larsen has been with Glosten since 1984. He manages the firm's marine engineering efforts, including mechanical and HVAC systems design. Currently he is managing systems design for a new arctic research vessel and is supporting construction of the state of Alaska's first fast ferry.
Smith came to Glosten in 2002 with 25 years of international experience in shipbuilding, marine salvage, environmental response and ocean operations. He is working with a major oil company on a 10,000-mile tow and installation of the world's largest floating production, storage and off-load unit.
Springer joined Glosten in 1987 and specializes in design and analysis of marine structures, evaluation of vessel stability, design and analysis of cargo transport systems and engineering support of marine construction. His corporate responsibilities include managing the firm's technical operations.

With 26 years of experience as a project architect and project manager, Bruce Armold's responsibilities have included campus master planning, architectural and interior design, programming, design development, contract documents, building code analysis and construction administration. His experience includes large industrial facilities for the semi conductor, chemical, food processing, pulp and paper industries, as well as commercial, educational, medical, judicial, federal, entertainment and retail developments in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Matthew Kogut's 13 years of experience spans design, programming, construction project management and renovation/tenant work on historically significant structures.
Rocky Flores has worked as a 3-D artist, project architect, interior designer and CADD operator. His experience includes design of office buildings for large telecommunications companies, recreational facilities for golf and country clubs, large industrial and commercial structures, corporate headquarters and single and multi-family residential projects.
Breann Parriott Jones, a former Miss Washington, specializes in public speaking, presentation development, and community relations. She is marketing coordinator for Helix.
Rita Lomas is a graphic designer. Lomas provides illustration, brochure design, Web site maintenance and exterior/interior signage design for clients.
Erik Prestegaard recently become a principal. With more than 30 years of professional practice, Erik has designed, managed, coordinated and planned an array of projects, often of a unique technical nature. His interest and efforts have focused on contract negotiations and administration as well as consultant team formation and structuring.

A former principal with LMN Architects, Bales brings 25 years experience in corporate and institutional interior architecture. Past projects include work for clients such as Boeing Commercial Airplane Group headquarters, Russell Investment headquarters, Russell/Mellon Analytical Services offices, Microsoft Liberty office and the Port of Tacoma administrative office building.

Karaca has been hired as a senior electrical designer. Karaca has 20 years of experience in electrical, and interior and exterior lighting design. His experience includes commercial, retail, institutional, medical, municipal and park facilities. He is currently working on the city of Bremerton's Police and Municipal Court Facility.
Ristow has been hired as a mechanical engineer. Ristow has seven years of experience designing mechanical systems. His background includes HVAC, piping, plumbing and fire protection for institutional, municipal, medical and laboratory projects as well as mixed-use facilities. He is currently working on retail facilities at Sea-Tac Airport.

Thelin has managed water, sewerage, stormwater, subsurface utility engineering and transportation improvement projects for many of the firm's key clients in Oregon and Washington. He is currently a project manager on the firm's ongoing Oregon Department of Transportation work. Prior to joining MSA, Thelin worked as project manager and technical director for the French-Canadian non-governmental development organization of Terre Sans Frontieres on a variety of water and sanitation projects in Rwanda.
Perry joined MSA in 1987 after graduating from Oregon State University with a B.S. degree in civil engineering. He is managing public works client and project interests for the firm in both states. He is a member of the Pacific Northwest Clean Water Association and the Water Environment Federation.
