Michel Sotura, mechanical department manager for Coffman Engineers’ Seattle office, earned the High-Performance Building Design Professional certification. Sotura is the first Coffman employee to receive this certification and is among a small group of Washington engineers to hold this credential. Sotura has more than 20 years of experience as an HVAC engineer for laboratories, health care, central plants, museums and aquariums, libraries, corporate offices, data centers and institutional facilities.

Sheri Murata in the Seattle office. Murata has civil engineering experience with water resources and site development. Her background also includes stormwater modeling, drainage reports, cost estimates and preparing construction plans. She is working on the Port of Tacoma road interchange with Interstate 5 for the city of Fife. The firm also hired

Dave Letrondo. Letrondo is a senior architect with extensive management, documentation and contract administration experience in health care, retail, prototype, corporate and mixed-use projects. He has more than 20 years of experience as an architect and will work in the educational design studio.
DLR Group hired architect and designer Jason Dardis to lead the corporate practice for the Seattle office. Dardis has more than 13 years of experience including work on multi-story office buildings, high-rise condominiums and mixed-use developments. He will help the firm expand its national corporate portfolio.

Coleen Monaghan has rejoined NAC|Architecture as a senior associate and director of interiors in the Spokane office. Monaghan previously worked for NAC|Architecture for 12 years, providing space planning and interior design to a broad range of clients. Monaghan is designing interiors for Magnuson Hotels in Spokane, Whitman Clinic in Colfax, Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth and for the renovation of Patterson Hall at Eastern Washington University in Cheney.

Keith W. McIntyre as vice president and head of the electrical department for the Seattle office. McIntyre has more than 30 years of experience as an electrical engineer and for the past six years he served as senior facilities engineer with the University of Washington.
