BOE architects hired
Rebecca Olsen as an administrative associate. Olsen is a St. Martin's University graduate.
Tetra Tech hired
Leah Wollard as an interior designer,
Stacie Clerget as a program assistant,
Ruslan Asadullaev as a civil engineer and
Mark K. Robbins,
Richard Sachs,
Melissa Bullis and
Angelina Dimitrova as architects. Wollard is LEED-accredited and NCID-certified and worked as an intern architect with a goal of dual licensure. She has a certificate of construction management from the University of Washington and will work on U.S. Air Force projects. Robbins has 20 years of experience as a project architect and manager, including on corporate offices for Microsoft, Comcast and Boeing; K-12 educational facilities; and other commercial and institutional projects. He is working on the Amtrak New Cascades maintenance facility in Seattle. Sachs has 12 years in the public and private sectors in Seattle and Washington D.C. He has worked on single-family developments, schools, administrative buildings, convention centers and hospitals. He will work on Misawa Air Base dormitory renovations. Bullis has 10 years of experience in urban mixed-use projects, community centers, and multi- and single-family housing. She is working on a training facility at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. Clerget came to Tetra Tech from the UW capital projects office where she was event coordinator, administrative assistant and coordinator to CAD floor plan updates for campus buildings. She will assist Facilities Program Director Mark Nakatani. Dimitrova has experience with office buildings, housing, hotels, museums and medical facilities. She will work on the Amtrak New Cascades project. Asadullaev has rejoined Tetra Tech, bringing a background in planning, engineering, and construction management in the United States and abroad. His experience includes water resource, water/wastewater, site planning/ land development and geological/chemical engineering. He is working in the Richland office on development projects. Tetra Tech provides consulting, engineering, program management, construction and technical services addressing the resource management and infrastructure markets.

VIA Architecture added
Mahlon Clements as director of urban design and
Wolf Saar as director of practice in its Seattle office. Clements is an architect and urban designer with 20 years of experience, focusing on urban design, community planning and transit projects. He has led workshops, designed urban streets and managed documents for infrastructure and building projects. Saar has 25 years in architecture for local, national and international clients. He focuses on design for seniors and special needs groups. He serves on the Capitol Hill design review board and the Washington State University School of Architecture and Construction Management professional advisory board. VIA works in architecture, infrastructure, planning and community building.
Tetra Tech hired
Elmo Acacio as an electrical engineer,
Laura Hendrix as a hazard mitigation specialist,
Steve Kennedy as a control systems designer and
Scott Rzemien as a construction services manager. Acacio has 18 years in electrical engineering for Seattle area clients, including Boeing. He is on the design team for the Minot, S.D., AFB training facility and the Warrior in Transition complex at Fort Wainwright. Hendrix has seven years of experience with FEMA flood insurance regulations, fluvial geomorphology and riverine processes, hydraulic and hydrologic models, and software for mitigation of flood-related hazards. She is working on FEMA hazard mitigation plans in Washington and California. Kennedy has 20 years of experience in SCADA computer and control systems programming for municipal and industrial applications. He is working on a wastewater treatment plant in Ventura County, Calif. Rzemien has 26 years of experience in public and private construction management and contracting, including water treatment, transportation, hospitals, fire stations and industrial facilities. He is construction manager for Edgewood's Meridian Avenue sewer LID improvement project. Tetra Tech provides consulting, engineering, program management, construction and technical services.
