In Seattle, NBBJ promoted Juli Cook, Jane Loura, Sam Stubblefield and Carl Tully to principal. Cook is NBBJ's chief operating officer and oversees global operations in 11 offices. She has introduced new business models at Corbis Images, Deloitte and Sotheby's. Loura has over 15 years of experience as a registered nurse and hospital administrator. Since joining NBBJ in 2006, she has worked on transition management and health care planning for UW Medical Center, LSU and Seattle Children's. Stubblefield is a designer interested in how art, architecture and digital technology influence culture, and has woven media into architectural projects. His work has won AIA, IIDA and SEGD design awards, and Mobius Gold and Cannes Lions International awards. Tully leads complex projects, from urban high rises to community hospitals. He chairs a city of Seattle committee for Swedish Hospital and advocates for Seattle's urban trail network.

He holds a master's in civil engineering from the University of Washington and a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Arizona. Ricketts does software and hardware support, and worked in IT for UW, Microsoft and Vulcan as well as teaching and administration. Vincent is working on a Catholic school in Billings, Montana. She holds a bachelor's of architecture degree from Catholic University of America and a masters of architecture from University of Oregon. Young has over 20 years of experience on K-12, civic, workplace and hospitality projects.

Frisby joined the firm in 2007, and has worked on mixed-use, hospitality, office, storage, parking, road and residential projects. DCI is a civil and structural engineering firm, with offices also in Spokane, Portland, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Austin and Anchorage.

Gysler is in the structural engineering department, and was an AHBL intern. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the University of Washington. Maxey has seven years of experience, and was an office assistant at Pierce County Public Works. Parent has over six years of experience in human resources. AHBL provides civil and structural engineering, landscape architecture, community planning, and land surveying, with offices also in Seattle, Spokane and the Tri-Cities.
