Andrew Bergh: Court upholds damages even after woman's death

Ethel Flanzraich had good reason to celebrate.
After waiting more than 39 months for her day in court, the New York resident was awarded damages of almost half a million dollars in her personal injury lawsuit. The amount included, among other things, $150,000 for her future pain and suffering.
