GMI, a provider of global market intelligence solutions, hired David Parker as chief financial officer. Parker has 10 years of financial expertise and was vice president at Seattle-based Getty Images. GMI is headquartered in Seattle.

MediQuest

MediQuest Therapeutics of Bothell, a pharmaceutical company focused on inflammatory and infectious diseases, hired Jan Öhrström as executive VP and chief clinical officer. Öhrström worked at ZymoGenetics for seven years and has also worked for Novo Nordisk Healthcare.

HipCricket

Bellevue-based HipCricket, a mobile marketing company, hired Steven Siegel as vice president of brand solutions. Siegel worked with Enpocket and has developed mobile marketing programs for customers including Dunkin Donuts, The History Channel and Verizon Wireless.

Trellis

Trellis restaurant in Kirkland hired Joshua Theilen as executive sous chef and Sandra Watson as pastry chef. Theilen has worked at Restaurant Zoe and the Sorrento. Watson has worked at the Third Floor Café and Macrina Bakery. Trellis is located in the Heathman Hotel.

Puget Sound Regional Council

The Puget Sound Regional Council hired Chris Strow as principal economic policy analyst. Strow has served two terms as the Washington state representative for the 10th District. PSRC organizes the Prosperity Partnership, a coalition of 250 Washington government and business groups dedicated to developing a common economic strategy.

Hubspan

Seattle-based Hubspan promoted Trisha Gross to president and CEO. Gross has 20 years experience and was executive vice president of sales, services and marketing. She replaces Al Higginson, who now serves as Hubspan's chairman. Hubspan is a provider of business to business integration solutions.

Camano Island-based Espresso Americano International hired three senior advisors to develop and grow its EABrevita.com concept. They are Paul Evanson as chief operating officer, Kelly Traw as vice president of marketing and Steve Allen as technical adviser. EABrevita.com is a membership-based cooperative drive-thru concept. Espresso Americano has almost 200 licensed espresso bars and drive-thrus around the world. It has offices in Washington, Honduras, China and Japan.

Hydrogen

Hydrogen, a marketing services firm, hired Chris Sallquist as experience director. Sallquist has 15 years of experience in agency business and was with Digital Kitchen. Hydrogen has offices in Seattle and San Francisco.
