Regal Logistics in Fife hired Greg Westover as director of sales. Westover previously worked for Camco, Weber Distribution and Milgard Windows. Regal Logistics specializes in high volume, mass retailer distribution.
Performance Bicycle, a specialty bike retailer, is opening new stores in Lynnwood in the Alderwood Towne Center and in Portland at 1736 S.W. Alder St. The stores are designed to appeal to serious cyclists as well as beginning riders.
Umpqua Bank opened a 1,500-square-foot “neighborhood store” in Vancouver at 720 Esther St. in Esther Short Commons. The new location is one of five Umpqua neighborhood stores, which are similar to cafes and other gathering places. It will be managed by Naomi Camargo who was store manager at Umpqua's Vancouver Mill Plain location.

OneAmerica, an Indianapolis-based carrier that offers life insurance, annuities and retirement planning, has moved its Seattle office. It is now located one door up the street in the Weller Building at 1225 S. Weller, Suite 200.
Seattle's Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Greater Seattle Business Association announced a new tourism marketing partnership targeted to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender travel market. Both organizations have convened an advisory task force to pool expertise and resources to help leverage business from the travel market.
U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee announced that $20 million dollars of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be awarded to Bellevue-based Ramgen Power Systems for the expanded development of a carbon dioxide compression project, also known as carbon capture and storage technology. The CCS technology being developed at Ramgen shows promise for containing and controlling carbon emissions from facilities like power plants, who now are a leading contributor to the United States' carbon output.

GreenRubino, a Seattle-based full service marketing agency, hired Ethan Grey as senior interactive project manager. Grey is responsible for managing large-scale Web site development projects and project communications and operations. He recently was technical project manager at ZAAZ.
Law firm Dorsey & Whitney said Peter Ehrlichman, a partner in the Seattle office, is now a trustee of the board of the King County Bar Association. Ehrlichman begins his three-year term on July 1. The board is the leadership body of the bar association, whose mission is to supply a structure for the provision of pro bono services to needy citizens in King County.
Kirkland-based Clearwire hired G. Michael Sievert as chief commercial officer, Kevin Hart as chief information officer and Laurent Bentitou as chief people officer. The company also announced role changes for existing employees. Barry West, who was president and chief architect, is now president-international. John Saw, who remains chief technology officer, now also oversees the deployment of broadband network and technologies. Perry Satterlee is stepping down as chief operating officer.
