Lane Powell shareholder Parna A. Mehrbani was elected chair of the Trade Names Subcommittee for the International Trademark Association, which is dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property. Mehrbani has been a member of the committee since 2009.
KPLU/Pacific Public Media General Manager Erik Nycklemoe made two leadership changes. Joe Cohn has been promoted from assistant general manager/director of content to executive director/music. He will add more local, national and international services, and grow revenue to support them. Cohn will continue as program director and oversee music, marketing/promotions and production. Jennifer Strachan has been promoted to executive director/news. She will oversee the news department and be the digital and mobile leader.

Ashbaugh Beal said Sarah Cox has joined as an associate. She is a 2013 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law and will be working with the litigation groups.

Frontier Communications named Willard (Will) Burge general manager in Bothell. Burge will oversee field operations and sales, and be responsible for customer experience. He reports to Vicky Oxley, Frontier's vice president/general manager for Western Washington. Burge joined Frontier in 2010 as general manager in Coos Bay, Ore., and was Washington state operations manager for Verizon.
Betts, Patterson & Mines added three new litigation attorneys. Eric Chavez practices primarily in insurance defense and was employed by Liberty Mutual. Shaina R. Johnson focuses on complex litigation and insurance defense. Kathryn N. Boling represents insurers on coverage and bad faith matters, and worked in the Civil Division of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. .

The Northwest African American Museum named Rosanna Sharpe executive director. She has more than 20 years of experience, serving as director of curatorial affairs for the Museum of Glass and manager of collections and traveling exhibitions for Experience Music Project.
Bothell-based Seattle Genetics said Jonathan Drachman, M.D., has been promoted to chief medical officer and executive vice president, research and development. He joined Seattle Genetics in 2004. Eric Sievers, M.D., was promoted to senior vice president, clinical development.
Prevencio, a Kirkland-based company developing diagnostic tests for coronary artery disease, named H. Perry Fell, Ph.D. chairman of the board and Rhonda F. Rhyne president, CEO and board director. Fell has more than 40 years of experience in biotech and pharmaceuticals, and co-founded Seattle Genetics. Rhyne has spent 20 years in executive management for life science companies and was president of CardioDynamics.
KCTS 9 named April M. Collier vice president of development. Collier will oversee fundraising, including membership, foundation support, corporate underwriting, major gifts and planned giving. She has worked at Seattle University, College of Notre Dame and Seattle Preparatory School.
