Suter

Healthcare Management Administrators named Steve Suter president. He joined HMA in 2014 as chief operating officer and before that was chief operating officer at UnitedHealth Groups' Optum division. He will be based at HMA's Bellevue office. HMA is a third-party benefits administrator of health plans.

SIFF

SIFF hired Sarah Wilke to replace outgoing Interim Executive Director Christine Martin after a year-long search by SIFF's board of directors. Martin will remain at SIFF in a reduced capacity through November to help the transition. Wilke worked at Seattle's On the Boards, Consolidated Works, Tacoma Art Museum and the Freer & Sackler Galleries in Washington, D.C. SIFF operates Seattle International Film Festival, SIFF Cinema and SIFF Education.

Komoto

Kent City Council appointed Kim Komoto as city clerk. Komoto succeeds Ronald Moore, who resigned in June. Komoto has been a legal analyst for Kent City Attorney's office since 2010 and has years of experience in public records law and compliance. She originally joined the city as a legal secretary in 2008. The city clerk supports the legislative process, provides access to official records, preserves city history, and works with other departments.

Cairncross & Hempelmann said Thomas P. Francis has joined the Corporate Finance & Business Transactions group. He represents private companies and investors on complex business transactions. Francis worked as a police officer at Pasadena Police Department and as a transactional attorney at Foster Pepper.

The disability law, elder law, estate planning and settlement planning firm Dussault Law Group is changing its name to Brothers Henderson Dussault, marking the partnership transition from founder William Dussault to Joshua Brothers and Christopher Henderson. The firm was founded in 1984 by Dussault, who will remain of counsel with the firm.

Washington State Hospital Association

Gregg Davidson, who has worked at Skagit Valley Hospital and Skagit Regional Health for 37 years, was awarded the Joe Hopkins Memorial Award for leadership by the Washington State Hospital Association. Davidson served as superintendent/CEO of Skagit Regional Health/Public Hospital District No.1 since 2003.
