John Frankovich joined Neal Analytics in Bellevue in the new role of chief customer officer. Frankovich was global vice president at Comcast NBCU, and CEO of Vortex Consulting Partners and Ramp Technology Group. Neal Analytics provides business intelligence, including data warehousing, dashboards and artificial intelligence.

Stephanie Stephens, Lane Powell attorney and shareholder, was elected a fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. Stephens is chair of the Finance and Banking Team in Seattle, representing banks, finance companies and other lenders, as well as borrowers.
Kirkland-based Xtreme Consulting Group, a professional recruiting firm, was bought by Digital Intelligence Systems of McLean, Virginia. Digital Intelligence provides contingent labor and IT solutions, with 33 offices worldwide. Xtreme has over 550 employees in the U.S. The deal is expected to close by May 11.
In Seattle, Alpine Immune Sciences added Chris Peetz to its board. Peetz is CEO of Flashlight Therapeutics, and was CFO and head of corporate development at biotechnology company Tobira Therapeutics before joining Flashlight. Alpine is developing protein-based immunotherapies.
Seattle VR production studio WunderVu hired Rachel Lanham as general manager. Lanham co-founded Health123, a health intelligence company supporting clinical workflows and engaging patients in their care plans. She also was an executive at Avenue A. WunderVu is part of Pixvana, a software company focusing on virtual, augmented and mixed reality.

Seattle-based energy advisory firm EMI Consulting appointed Wil Marquardt director of finance and operations. Marquardt previously held senior positions at SumBridge, Strong-Bridge Consulting and Two Degrees. He holds an MBA with a concentration in environmental management from the University of Washington.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan nominated Magistrate Judge Faye Chess for a vacant position on Seattle Municipal Court. Chess served as judge pro tempore in King County District Court for over 22 years. She will fill the unexpired term, ending Dec. 31, that was held by Judge Karen Donohue, who was recently appointed to King County Superior Court. Durkan's nomination must be confirmed by the City Council.
Seattle real estate developer and philanthropist Michael Malone will receive the 2018 Community Service Award on May 11 at the 34th annual Celebrity Waiters Luncheon. The award recognizes Malone's involvement with local nonprofits and the preservation of landmark buildings in Pike-Pine.
Artist Trust and Gage Academy of Art are partnering on a program to help artists learn business skills. Professional Development for Visual Artists is a 23-week course starting this fall. Topics include grant writing, marketing, pricing and finance. The course will be led by Seattle artist Dawn Cerny, who also teaches at Seattle University.
