Nautilus

Barr

James “Jim” Barr IV later this month will become CEO and a board member of Vancouver-based fitness equipment maker Nautilus. Barr was a group president at industrial equipment marketer Ritchie Bros., and executive vice president and chief digital officer at OfficeMax. Earlier this year, Bruce Cazenave resigned as CEO after seven years with Nautilus.

Darigold

Kondoor

Seattle-based Darigold opened a sales office in Dubai and added Benoy Kondoor as sales director for the Middle East and Africa. Kondoor previously managed dairy sales for Louis Dreyfus Co. in the Middle East and Pakistan. The new office is in the Dubai World Trade Centre complex. Darigold is the marketing and processing subsidiary of Northwest Dairy Association, which is owned by over 430 dairy farms.

WSU Health Sciences

Daryll DeWald, chancellor of WSU Health Sciences, took on the added title of vice president of Health Sciences. The new position reflects DeWald's additional responsibilities of overseeing WSU's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences — all based in Spokane. DeWald was a life-sciences researcher and professor before joining WSU in 2011 as dean of the former College of Sciences.

TCS World Travel

Seattle-based TCS World Travel merged with Travcoa to improve its custom-tailored journeys across the globe. Travcoa offers curated journeys and TCS offers private jet journeys. The merged businesses operate under the TCS name.

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn

In Portland, Miller Nash Graham & Dunn was ranked No. 4 nationally in the annual Glass Ceiling report by Law360. The ranking is based on the percentage of female equity partners among law firms of 150-299 lawyers. This is the fourth consecutive year that Miller Nash has appeared on the list.

Mary's Place

Hoang

Vietnamese–American restaurant owner and community leader Taylor Hoang is the newest board member of Mary's Place. Hoang founded the Ethnic Business Coalition, a nonprofit helping immigrant and minority-owned businesses, and Winstar, a nonprofit helping Vietnamese farmers grow better and more sustainable coffee for export. Mary's Place is a Seattle nonprofit operating nine emergency family shelters in King County.

Quilceda Creek

In Snohomish, Quilceda Creek hired Nicole Trumble as national sales manager for the winery. Trumble has over 15 years of wine industry experience. She comes from California's Napa Valley region, where she was national sales director of a prominent winery. Prior to that, she was regional sales director of Pioneer Wine Co. in Dallas.

PrimeLending

National residential mortgage lender PrimeLending opened a new branch in Sandpoint, Idaho, and hired Pam Grutta as senior loan officer for it. Grutta was a senior loan officer at Flagstar Bank in Sandpoint and has over seven years of mortgage banking experience. The new branch is at 109 N. First Ave., Unit B, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864. PrimeLending is based in Dallas.

ImageFirst

Laundry services provider ImageFirst acquired two of its franchisees, in St. Louis and Seattle-Portland. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. ImageFirst specializes in the healthcare market, with 41 locations nationwide that serve over 14,000 medical facilities every week.

Sprague Pest Solutions

Tacoma-based Sprague Pest Solutions was ranked No. 24 on Pest Control Technology magazine's Top 100 list of pest management companies in the U.S. Sprague says it is the largest privately held, commercial services-only firm in the country. Rankings were based on revenue.
