Wells Fargo

Brian Donahou and Cy Lindberg have been named private bankers and vice presidents for Wells Fargo's Private Banking team. Donahou will be based in Seattle. He worked previously for Bank of America. Lindberg will be based in Bellingham and was previously a private banker for KeyBank.

Banner Bank

Banner Bank promoted Keith Hergesheimer to senior vice president, director of corporate training. Hergesheimer will oversee all the bank's employee training at 41 branch offices and 8 loan offices in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Hergesheimer joined Banner in 2000. He previously was manager of financial centers for Washington Mutual Bank in Kennewick, and manager for Northwest Mortgage & Financial Services.

Golf Club at Newcastle

Bill Beck has been appointed executive chef at The Golf Club at Newcastle. Beck will oversee operations for The Calcutta Grill and Newcastle's banquet department. Beck previously served as corporate executive chef for Cucina! Cucina! and was executive chef for Blowfish Asian Café in Seattle. The Golf Club at Newcastle has two 18-hole public courses and a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Neah Power Systems

Arthur Homa has been named to direct engineering and R&D activities for Neah Power Systems as vice president, engineering. Homa was most recently with Gold Peak Industries, a Singapore-based battery company. He has held previous positions with General Electric and Rayovac. Neah Power Systems, based in Bothell, is a developer of micro fuel cell power solutions for portable devices.

McCann Saab

Melaine S. McCann has opened a Saab dealership in Fife. The Saab line has been added to the McCann dealership of Cadillac and Hummer vehicles. The McCann Cadillac dealership began in Tacoma in 1958 with Tom McCann and recently moved to Fife. Grand opening ceremonies will be held Aug. 28 - Sept. 8 at 6411 20th St. E. in Fife.

Ellensburg Daily Record

Steve Miller, Idaho State Journal managing editor, has been named publisher of the Daily Record in Ellensburg. Both papers are owned by Pioneer Newspapers. The company previously announced that Journal Publisher Stephanie Pressly would take over the company's newspaper in Nampa, Idaho, and that Daily Record Publisher Bill Kunerth would take over the Journal in Pocatello, Idaho.

Nike USA

Tom Arndorfer will serve as vice president and chief financial officer of Nike USA. Arndorfer joined Nike in 1996 as controller for global footwear. The company named Jim Carter vice president and general counsel. He joined Nike in 1998 as general counsel for the U.S. and the Americas operations. Adam Helfant was named vice president for the U.S. sports marketing position, after serving as director of both global and U.S. sports marketing.

Volunteers of America Oregon

Sho Dozono is the 2004 recipient of the DePreist Award for Excellence from Volunteers of America Oregon. The award recognizes individuals whose leadership has helped to build community and legacy. Dozono’s selection was based on his contributions as a business and civic leader. Dozono is a past commissioner of the Port of Portland and is currently chair emeritus of the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers of America Oregon was founded in 1896.

Northwest Business Bank

Fred Holubik has been promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer for Northwest Business Bank. Holubik joined the bank in 2002 as senior vice president and credit officer. He previously held positions in Seattle with Rainier Bank and Key Bank.

EvergreenBancorp

Marian Scott has joined EvergreenBancorp as branch manager for its new Federal Way office. Scott was previously with Woodstone Credit Union as sales and retail operations manager. EvergreenBank currently has three offices in Seattle, Lynnwood and Bellevue. The Federal Way office is located at 1300 S. 320th St. and will open in mid September.

Community Health Plan of Washington

Gary Feldbau, MD, joined Community Health Plan of Washington as senior vice president and chief medical officer. Feldbau was most recently medical director of Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, and president of Group Health Permanente, a professional corporation of health professionals that contracts with Group Health. Community Health Plan of Washington provides managed care for more than 200,000 patients in Washington.

The UPS Store

The UPS Store at 2020 Maltby Rd. in Thrasher's Corner opened recently. The store offers shipping and freight services, postal services, copying, document finishing, design and printing, and office and packaging supplies.

Bellevue Entrepreneur Center

The Bellevue Entrepreneur Center is looking for Eastside small businesses for free business consulting help. Approximately 15 businesses will receive consulting assistance by teams of faculty, students and industry advisors from the University of Washington Bothell, Bellevue Community College and City University. The center is a nonprofit partnership of local governments, higher education, community organizations and private enterprise designed to help small businesses succeed.
