Grainger, a Lake Forest, Ill.-based distributor of facilities maintenance supplies, opened a store in Bothell Business Park. Comprehensive Health Education Foundation, a Seattle-based nonprofit that works on prevention education for young people, has two new members on its board of directors. James LoGerfo is a professor of medicine and health services at the University of Washington and the director of the UW Health Promotion Research Center. Seattle sportswear company Cutter & Buck announced the resignation of Mike Brownfield from its board of directors. He said work schedule demands and travel requirements were reasons for his resignation. Separately, Cutter & Buck announced Paul Bourgeois has left the company. Bourgeois was responsible for golf sales as vice president and manager of the golf strategic business unit.
Y3K Secure Enterprise Software, a communications and technologies company with offices in Bellevue and Seattle, announced new appointees to its board of directors: Shane Smith, Frank Maros and Steve Forbes. Board members Shannon Smith, James Stephens and David Cannon are stepping down. Y3K recently made purchases, opened telecommunications subsidiary Ecuity Advanced Communications and completed next generation voice services.

Steelscape's President Pat Finan resigned April 16 to pursue other opportunities. Steelscape is a wholly owned subsidiary of IMSA Acero, with facilities in Kalama and California. Cesar Jarero, president of IMSA Acero-American Division will serve as Steelscape's interim president.
Noble House Hotels and Resorts appointed Marc Pujalet president and chief marketing officer. Pujalet will oversee training, sales and marketing, revenues and spas. Pujalet worked with Seattle-King County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Westin Hotels and Resorts. Noble is a privately held hotel management and development company based in Seattle.
The Minority Business Development Center has opened at 1437 S. Jackson in Seattle. The U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency granted a contract to Community Capital Development to run the statewide center, which will partner with organizations that work with minority-owned businesses. Federal Way-based Weyerhaeuser Co. announced its board of directors elected Robert A. Dowdy senior vice president and general counsel. Dowdy is responsible for the law department, real estate services, and the ethics and business conduct office. He reports to Steven R. Rogel, president and chief executive officer.
Washington Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerry Alexander announced state court administrator Mary C. McQueen will be president of the National Center for State Courts in Williamsburg, Va. McQueen worked in Washington courts for 25 years and her resignation will be effective Sept. 30.
