Who's Calling

Stuart DePina was appointed chief operating officer and chief financial officer for the Kirkland-based company Who's Calling. DePina will oversee operational divisions and strategic direction. Tara Butler was named vice president of client services. Richard Counihan is vice president of services. Dave Venneri was promoted to vice president of sales.

InteractNetworks

Seattle-based InteractNetworks said it secured $4 million in venture funding led by Ignition Partners. The network security company will change its name to Lockdown Networks.

NACM

The National Association of Credit Management of Western Washington and Alaska elected Kim Sizemore chairman of the board. Sizemore is an accounting manager with Rice Insurance. Heidi Lindgren-Boyce is chairman-elect. Lindgren-Boyce is a senior credit manager with Star Rentals. Donald Conklin is president, Karen Parks is vice president and Claude Harmon is treasurer is the Seattle-based chapter.

Isilon Systems

Seattle-based Isilon Systems, a digital content storage systems provider, appointed Stuart Fuhlendorf chief financial officer. He led merger and acquisition initiatives for electronic manufacturing and technology companies for the Chicago-based investment bank Lincoln Partners.

Utilities and Transportation Commission

The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission in Olympia hired Roger Braden as assistant director for energy. Braden is a lawyer in private practice and was CEO of the Chelan Public Utility District in Wenatchee. The commission regulates rates and services of telecom and utilities companies.

Dream Dinners

Monique Taylor is opening a Dream Dinners franchise. Dream Dinners was started by Stephanie Allen, a caterer who regularly prepared freezer meals for her family. Dream Dinners says its stores in Everett and Kirkland receive 1,000 customers each month.

Sonus Pharmaceuticals

Sonus Pharmaceuticals appointed Michelle Burris to its board of directors. Burris is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Seattle-based Corixa Corp., which develops products to treat cancer and infectious diseases. Burris held finance and strategic planning positions at The Boeing Co.

Longview Fibre

David L. Bowden, senior vice president of timber for Longview Fibre Co. is retiring after 47 years. Dr. Wade C. Boyd replaces Bowden and will be based in Longview. Bowden will continue to serve on Longview Fibre's executive committee. He chairs the Forest Products Research Advisory Committee at Oregon State University.
