Betts, Patterson & Mines hired Diane K. Feth, an associate with five years of experience. Her area of practice is litigation, with a concentration in product liability and construction. Feth received her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and earned her J.D. from Hofstra University.
Port of Everett Property and Development Director Bob McChesney was named executive director at the Port of Port Angeles. McChesney will oversee marine terminals, an airport and industrial properties. McChesney worked at the Port of Longview as an assistant to the executive director.
The Seattle City Council hired Jackie O'Ryan to replace communications specialist Martin Munguia, who recently took a position in Edmonds. O'Ryan has more than 20 years of experience and was senior communications director for a national public health initiative at the University of Washington.
Seattle advertising agency Hydrogen hired four team members. Darlin Gray is now senior graphic designer and Stephanie Sohol is account coordinator. Kris Phillips joined as account supervisor and Corey Loiland is business development supervisor. Gray was a freelancer for Hydrogen. Sohol came as an intern after working in account services advertising. Phillips was an account manager for tourism in Albuquerque, N.M. Loiland studied at Oregon State University and in Avignon, France.
Redmond-based Prototron Circuits added Norman Turner as East Coast accounts manager. Turner has been in the circuit board profession for 30 years. Based in New Hampshire, he will focus on circuit board sales. Prototron also hired Felipe Alvarado as sales engineer. Alvarado will be based in San Diego and work on sales in Southern California. Alvarado has worked on quality assurance and front end engineering. Prototron manufactures prototype and printed circuit boards. It has an office in Tucson.
Marketing agency Cole & Weber/Red Cell added Scott Bailey and Craig Erickson as senior art directors and Mike Tuton as a copywriter. Bailey worked with TBWA Chiat/Day in Los Angeles and two companies in New York. He taught at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Calif. Erickson was a product designer at Microsoft. Tuton was an account executive and freelance copywriter. Dan Lien will work on media planning for the University of Phoenix account. In the Portland office, Micah Arnold has been promoted to media planner. Geoff Brousseau is the agency's help desk manager. Valerie Paquin has been promoted to account executive. Chris Konya has been promoted to assistant account executive. Cole & Weber/Red Cell has offices in Seattle and Portland.

Biotechnology company Dendreon Corp. appointed Linda Staley vice president of information technology. Staley will lead strategic planning to commercialize Provenge, the company's therapeutic cancer vaccine. Staley was an executive director at Cardinal Health's nuclear pharmacy division. Seattle-based Dendreon works on therapies for cancer.
Primus Knowledge Solutions of Seattle appointed Bill Moore executive vice president of worldwide sales and services. Moore will manage global sales and professional services. He was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Business Engine. Primus develops software for contact centers, help desks and electronic communications.
Kirkland-based Print, a company that provides printing, copying, faxing and imaging services, promoted Dan Brady to president. Brady was executive vice president of business development. He will manage the company's $40 million direct sales business.
Lake Oswego, Ore.-based West Coast Bank plans to open branches in Vancouver and Salem and Gresham, Ore., this year. The company says it has more deposits and branch locations than any other Oregon-based community bank in the Portland/Vancouver and Salem regions.
Bellevue-based Expedia named Steven McArthur president of Expedia North America. McArthur, former executive vice president of Web services at America Online, will manage operations and the Expedia.com travel site.
