Daste and Associates is adding a wine sales and marketing division. This will be headed by Cary Daste, who has 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, including work at Vintage Northwest and K&L Classic Wine Co. He is the husband of the company's founder, Cynthia Daste. Their Redmond-based company consults on corporate events, meetings and charity auctions.
Merry Go Round Children's Store will open a Bellevue store on Aug. 1 at 116th Ave. N.E. This is a few blocks from the current store, which is across the street from Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. The new space will be 12,000 square-feet, up from 7,000 square-feet. The company buys children's products from around the country. Bradley R. Duncan joined Davis Wright Tremaine as a partner in the law firm's Seattle office. Duncan has more than 15 years of bankruptcy and related litigation experience, and will work in the bankruptcy and creditor's rights practice group. He was with law firms in Washington, D.C.
Lisa Marinkovich has joined Aeromedia Network to lead marketing efforts as director of sales. Marinkovich has 18 years of marketing and sales experience, including work at Clear Channel Communications and Ackerley Communications. Aeromedia is a Seattle-based in-flight advertising company.
Mike Bailey was appointed as the city of Renton's new finance and information services administrator, subject to confirmation by the Renton City Council. He would plan and coordinate the city's budget, data processing and telecommunications. Baily was finance director for the city of Lynnwood.

Pasadena, Calif.-based company Fannie Mae named Joseph A. Grimes, III vice president of risk and underwriting for the company's Western Business Center. Grimes will oversee credit-risk and transaction management. He has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, and was most recently at Aames Investment Corp.
Thomas E. O'Donovan will take command of the Portland District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A change of command ceremony will be held today at 3 p.m. at Bonneville Lock and Dam. O'Donovan succeeds Richard Hobernicht, who is retiring after 26 years with the Army. The Portland District is responsible for the Corps' water resource activities in western Oregon and southwestern Washington, including fish and wildlife protection, hydropower production, navigation, flood damage reduction and recreation.
