Pacific Continental Bank hired Nate Moncrief as vice president and relationship banking officer. Moncrief will work from the bank's office in downtown Seattle.
Hotel Bellwether's Harborside Bistro hired Robert Pinksi as executive chef. Pinksi has spent six years in the Harborside kitchen and has held the positions of sous chef, lead line cook, grill cook and pantry cook, before his recent promotion. Hotel Bellwether is a European-style waterfront retreat in Bellingham.
Deeann Burtch Puffert, chief program officer of Child Care Resources, has been named interim chief executive officer at the nonprofit. Outgoing CEO Nina Auerbach has been appointed CEO of Thrive by Five Washington and will start in November. Auerbach was founder of Child Care Resources and has been CEO for 18 years.
Weyerhaeuser Co. hired Betsy Seaton as vice president, strategic planning. Seaton has held a variety of management positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company in 1992, most recently leading the company's effort to improve supply chain efficiency in its businesses with SAP technology.

Foster Pepper hired Sinjin Dinh, Nicole Guerrero, Amy Kauppila, Laura Marquez-Garrett, Matthew Maynard and Adrian Urquhart Winder in its Seattle office. Dinh is an associate in the Business and Investment Management groups. Guerrero is an associate in its Real Estate Group. Kauppila is an associate in the Health Care Group. Marquez-Garrett is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. Maynard will work in the Business and Investment Management groups. Urquhart Winder is an associate in the Litigation Group.
Seattle-Northwest Securities, an investment banking firm, hired Richard Schober as managing director of the Public Finance Department. Schober joined SNW in 2007 as a senior vice president in the department. He replaces Michael Lewis, who will focus on SNW's Housing and Energy sectors.
Kid to Kid, a retail franchise that buys and sells children's and maternity goods, is now buying used items at 16908 S.E. 269th Place in Covington. The store is owned by Annette Cyr. It will open for buying and selling in late November.

Lane Powell hired Magdalena Bragunas as an associate in the Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Practice Group. Bragunas was a summer associate and law clerk at Lane Powell and has completed an externship with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Puget Sound Bank hired Mary Klubben and Robert Steinburg as vice president, relationship managers. Klubben was a credit policy manager in Washington Mutual's Small Business Banking Group. Steinburg worked at Seattle First National Bank/Bank of America.
