We know that technology is catching up with our imagination. We've been hearing for years now that soon we will have control of our household electronics, security, even thermostat, by telephone or computer.
Some households, especially new homes, have already implemented these systems. But what about the owners of older homes? The common idea is that home automation systems cost a great deal of money, are difficult to set up, and include rewiring your entire home.
