Indoor air quality expert Mike Smith has consulted on industrial hygiene for insurance companies, school districts and governments and was recently named a principal at Kirkland-based environmental consulting firm AMEC. The DJC asked him what contractors can do to help prevent mold from becoming a problem in buildings.
