Block 41, a party and event space, has opened in a former warehouse at 115 Bell St. in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.
The 15,000-square-foot building has three indoor event spaces on two levels and a courtyard. It can accommodate more than 800 people.
Renovation took over a year to complete. The building was gutted, saving what materials could be preserved. A new HVAC system, two kitchens, restrooms, and state-of-the-art audio-visual system were added.
Several local artists designed elements such as the metal courtyard gate and the entry chandelier, as well as leather wrappings to cover the scuffed wooden columns.
