Olsgard started at PCL in 1977 as a field engineer and rose through the ranks to became district manager in 2002. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.

Bellevue's Foushee and Associates has hired Mitch Droz and Chad Heitlauf as project engineers and promoted Chris Deusen to senior project engineer. Droz and Heitlauf are recent graduates of Central Washington University, each earning a bachelor's degree in construction management. Deusen holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington.

Jackson Dean Construction

Barclay Dean Construction has changed its name to Jackson Dean Construction and is moving its headquarters from Bellevue to 3414 S. 116th St. in Seattle at the end of the month. The name change distinguishes it from Barclay Dean Architectural Products, a division the company sold in 2001. It also reflects the ownership of President and CEO Miles Jackson, who joined the firm in 1997.
