Lease Crutcher Lewis has promoted Joe Paar and hired Eric Hylen, Carol Rhodes and Tom Holzer in its Seattle office. Paar is project manager in the Special Projects Division. He has worked for the company since 2000 as a superintendent and project engineer. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management and a master's degree in business administration, both from the University of Washington. Hylen rejoined the company as superintendent in the Commercial Division after working for the firm in the 1970s and 80s. Rhodes and Holzer are project managers in the Commercial Division. Rhodes has 10 years of industry experience and holds a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering from the University of Kansas. Holzer has been in the business since 1972 and holds a bachelor's degree from Montana State University.
Lakewood-based John Korsmo Construction has added Tracy Cutler as lead estimator and Mike Campeau as project manager. Cutler has 13 years of experience and holds a bachelor's degree in building construction from the University of Washington. Campeau has eight years of experience and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Washington State University.
Cheryl L. Davidowicz has been promoted to vice president and regional manager of the Rocky Mountain Region for KJM & Associates. Davidowicz has 16 years of experience in the construction management industry, including 12 years as a cost and scheduling engineer. She previously was project manager for Sound Transit's agency-wide management services contract in Seattle. She is now based in Englewood, Colo.
Egis Real Estate Services has launched Egis Certified, an integrated building commissioning and LEED certification program. The company claims the approach will lower costs of those services for developers and property owners. The program is led by service manager Brian Moore and director of engineering Tom Ripley, both LEED Version 2.1 accredited professionals

The Renton Technical College Foundation recently received a $50,000 bequest from Joseph E. Holliday to benefit plastering students in the school's Joint Apprenticeship Training Center Program. Holliday, a plasterer for many years, passed away in February at the age of 82.
