Redmond-based Sequoyah Electric started its long-planned succession transition, which moves founder Dave Nichols to chairman and Mahmood Ghassemi to president. Joining the Sequoyah ownership team are long-time employees Scott Angeline, Rick Trocano, Jeff Casino, Cheryl Nagel and Chris Nichols.


Hawk Mechanical Contractors named Brett Endres and Steve Otis senior project managers, with responsibility for generating and managing new business. Over the past 18 years, Endres held a variety of managerial positions at University Mechanical Contractors. He holds an associate's degree in HVAC systems design from North Seattle Community College. Otis, also from University Mechanical, has more than 20 years of mechanical contracting and energy services experience. He is on the board of the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee for Local 32 Plumbers and Pipefitters, and holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Washington State University and a professional mechanical engineer's license. Hawk specializes in public works projects, with strengths in waste water treatment systems and complex industrial work.

Scott Chapman joined Seattle residential builder Schuchart/Dow as a project manager. Chapman has more than 20 years of experience managing large-scale commercial projects, from design to occupancy. He previously was a program manager with Grubb & Ellis Management Services at Microsoft, where he managed construction teams. Prior to that, he was a project manager with Lease Crutcher Lewis. He holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo.

RSV Building Solutions, a Vancouver-based commercial contractor, hired Trevor Wyckoff as a senior project manager. Wyckoff previously was a senior project manager at Skanska USA Building's Oregon office, where he managed projects from Seattle to Los Angeles. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University.

General contractor Lease Crutcher Lewis hired Lowrey Pugh, Darya Saber and Sean Gephart in its Seattle office. Pugh transitioned from consultant to BIM coordinator. He got into construction in 2003 as a plumber. He holds an associate's degree in engineering and architectural graphics from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Saber is a project engineer in the Special Projects Division. He started in construction in 2006 and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington. Gephart also is a project engineer in the Special Projects Division. He has been in construction since 2009, and holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of St. Thomas. He is studying for his construction management certificate at the University of Washington.

The Construction Industry Training Council of Washington hired Ana Davenport as continuing education coordinator. Davenport is responsible for staffing course development, scheduling, catalogue development and coordination with technical providers. Prior to joining CITC, she worked for BetterPhoto.com, an online photography school. She holds an associate's degree in applied arts in photography from the Art Institute of Seattle.
Chris Henderson joined Unimark Construction Group and sister company Servicemark Tenant Services as vice president and chief operating officer. Henderson is focusing on the operations of both companies while developing new business in the Puget Sound region. He has more than 20 years of construction, project management and team management experience, including stints with Turner Construction Co. and E. Kent Halvorson. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Washington.
Monroe's Pacific Earth Works won two 2011 Environmental Landscape Awards from the Washington Association of Landscape Professionals. It won an Award of Merit in the Commercial Construction category for its Good Samaritan green roof project, and an Award of Distinction in the Public Works category for its Marysville Getchell High School project. Pacific Earth Works is a landscape general contractor.
