After Hours: Music history project opens on Saturday

This installation at 23rd and Union uses found materials and photographs by Inye Wokoma. It is similar to those that will be part of the Jackson St. Music History Project.

SEATTLE — There will be a celebration on Saturday in Blanche Lavizzo Park for the Jackson St. Music History Project. The opening ceremony is at 2:30 p.m. with Seattle City Councilmember Nick Licata, followed by performances by Vintage One Jazz, Wheedle's Groove and Zulu Nation Hip Hop Showcase.
