Watertown Hotel: a pooling of concept and design

  • Degen & Degen designed the Watertown with 15 different floor plans, breaking the corporate mold with light touches such as the Party Cart, rolling packages of amenities for guests.

    The site-specific design of the Watertown Hotel in the University District features odd angles, breaking tradition with cookie-cutter hotels.

    If it weren't for the long, well-staffed reception desk and the big conference room doors, it would be hard to know this is a hotel. No logos on the wall, no period furnishings.
