Wow! It hit my fishing line like Ichiro Suzuki hits a fastball! My rod was bent double and it was all I could do to stay in the boat. Heck, it was all my boat could do to stay in the water! Gritting my teeth I reeled and pulled, pulled and reeled. It fought back, reversing every gain I had made. I was repeating the reel routine when all of a sudden something huge started to break the surface. There was violent slashing back and forth. Water was exploding high into the air. And bam, just like that—it was over.
A loud sneeze by the colleague sitting across the conference table forced me to face reality once again. I now had to endure another hideous hour in a meeting I sought desperately to escape.
