Historic school gets a remodeling lesson

    An addition to the Northwest School used concrete masonry similar in color to the existing clinker brick to complement the historic landmark without overshadowing it.

    RENOVATING AND building an addition to the 101-year-old Northwest School took deft scheduling, careful selection of materials and attention to detail in design and construction, according to project and school officials.
