Easing asphalt prices to boost road projects

Liquid asphalt prices peaked last summer while WSDOT installed this section of pavement on I-5 near Lynnwood.
Central Washington Asphalt last month won a $4 million bid to regrade and pave 141 miles of state highways in Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Franklin, Grant and Okanogan counties.
