Habitat for Humanity sees green in Olympia

Pervious pavement, shown here in a Sultan residential development, is a key element of a Habitat for Humanity development in Olympia. Two pervious pavement parking lots will allow Habitat to forego building a detention pond, enabling it to build two extra houses on the site.

SOUTH PUGET SOUND Habitat for Humanity is creating a 15-home development in Olympia that demonstrates some of the opportunities and costs of sustainable construction.
