    Pervious pavement was used in this Sultan residential development. More houses can be built when land doesn’t have to be set aside for building a stormwater detention pond.

    Pervious concrete seems like a good idea but will it save money on your project? Andy Marks, managing director of the Puget Sound Concrete Specification Council, said it all depends on how you look at costs.
