Bosnian refugee journeys into construction

    Damir Alic is interning this summer for Skanska on the Virginia Mason Hospital addition project.

    In 1992, 3-year-old Damir Alic's family fled Bosnia, right before war ravaged the country. Since then, he's built a life in America and is planning a career in construction management.
