Navos Mental Health Solutions celebrated the grand opening of the first floor of its 46,888-square-foot, three-story Mental Health and Wellness Center at 1210 SW 136th St. in Burien.
Three phases of construction have been completed, including sitework, core and shell, and interior build-out of the first floor. Phases four and five will begin later this year, including the interior build-out of floors two and three and a new freestanding community center.
The project will target LEED gold certification.
The center combines therapy, primary health care, employment training and support services.
For more than 40 years, Navos has been serving the needs of people with mental illness in King County. Services are targeted to those who live at or near the poverty level.
