Muckleshoot casino

Muckleshoot Casino
BFC Frontier recently finished a $20 million expansion and remodel of the Muckleshoot Tribal Casino in Auburn. The Lynnwood-based general contractor also built the original casino, which opened in 1995.

The addition more than doubled the size of the casino, from 63,000 square feet to over 145,000 square feet. New space was created with tilt-up concrete panels topped with a metal roof.

A colorful tropical paradise theme was created inside the gaming facility. Highlights include "ancient ruins" in the Keno area, a cliff-side waterfall and pond in the Oasis Lounge, and state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems in the new Club Galaxy. Other amenities include a sports bar, two banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 300 people, and additional parking.

Project architect is Greg Byler & Associates.
