SEATTLE -- This week marked the official opening of Seattle Repertory Theatre's world premiere of a new adaptation of Moliere's "Don Juan." Translated, adapted and directed by Seattle-based director Stephen Wadsworth, this once-banned play is not a romantic fantasy, but a tale about a political and religious skeptic who spoke out frankly about the hypocrisy of his age.
The original "Don Juan" was completed by Moliere in 1665.
