SEATTLE — On June 5, the Burke Museum will host DinoFest, its annual festival of fossils. The event brings paleontologists and hundreds of ancient plant and animal fossils to the museum. The event runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The event is included in museum admission. Museum tickets range from $14-22.
During this museum-wide event, guests will learn about research from Burke and UW scientists, watch paleontologists remove rock from fossils, view a real T-Rex skull discovered by Burke scientists, and sort through sediment collected from Hell Creek to discover real microfossils.
