Portland-based Northwest Capital Management, an investment and wealth management consulting firm, named Thomas E. "Arthur" Coyne chief investment officer. Coyne will be responsible for research and asset allocation modeling. He led asset allocation and fixed income research at Arnerich Massena & Associates in Portland.
Thumbspeed, a Bellevue-based developer and publisher of mobile applications, named Kendra VanderMeulen and Steve Elfman to its board of advisors. Ivar Michelsons is the new vice president of product management. Michelsons has more than 19 years of experience in product management, business development and entrepreneurial finance, including work at Adobe and Visio. VanderMeulen recently was InfoSpace Mobile's executive vice president. Elfman is executive vice president of technology and operations at InfoSpace.
Marcie Becher has been named Yarrow Bay Grill Catering's new catering director. She was manager of the Yarrow Bay Grill in Kirkland prior to this promotion.
Radiance Capital, an equipment financing company, is moving its headquarters from Seattle to downtown Tacoma. The company provides financing to a small businesses that need new or used equipment. The CEO is Tim Cavanaugh.

The Berger Partnership, a Seattle landscape architecture firm, added designers Marin Bjork, Karen Bech and Rachael Watland. Bjork is working on the Washington Cathedral in Redmond, and Bech is doing work on the Suncadia Resort in Roslyn. Watland is helping on two Seattle projects: the Four Seasons Hotel and 2201 Westlake.
