The Alexis Hotel appointed Rhiannon Hopkins sales manager. The downtown Seattle hotel is run by San Francisco-based company Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Hopkins previously managed convention services at Seattle's W Hotel.
Seattle law firm Ogden Murphy Wallace named Raymond J. Dearie and Wade M. Moller associates. Dearie works in the litigation department and Moller is in the business and tax department.
Moss Adams Chief Executive Officer Rick Anderson will join the Financial Accounting Foundation Board of Trustees. The foundation oversees FASB and its counterpart for state and local governments, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. Anderson has been with Moss Adams since 1973 and became CEO last year. Seattle-based Moss Adams provides accounting, tax and consulting services to public and private enterprises.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has reappointed federal public defenders Thomas Hillier and Franny A. Forsman. This will be Hillier's seventh term with the Western District of Washington. The district's offices are in Seattle and Tacoma. Forsman was named to a fifth term with the District of Nevada.

Civil and structural consulting firm DCI Engineers promoted
Darren Simpson to associate and
