John Korsmo Construction moved its headquarters to the east side of the Foss Waterway in Tacoma. The new address is: 1940 E. D St., Suite 300, Tacoma, WA 98421. The phone and fax numbers remain the same.
New officers were elected at the West Coast Lumber Inspection Bureau in Portland. They include: Rod Lucas of Action Wood Products in Turner, Ore., president; Tom Parks of Buse Timber & Sales in Everett, vice president; and Mike Anderson of Alder Creek Lumber Co. in Portland, secretary-treasurer. Seven new directors were also elected: Mike Anderson and Jeff Whitener in District 2, Pete Reyneke and John Ferguson in District 6, Maurice Van Hall in District 9, Kurt Schrammel in District 10, and John Konecny as director-at-large. The bureau is a not-for-profit organization that benefits lumber consumers and producers.
KeyBank promoted Richard E. Wirthlin to lead its Seattle-Cascades District. He replaces Jim Peoples. Wirthlin had been president of the Cincinnati District since 2006. Key maintains 84 KeyCenters in its Seattle-Cascades District covering Seattle, the Eastside and northwestern and central Washington.
The Seattle office of Davis Wright Tremaine named Kraig L. Marini Baker to chair the Technology Practice Group. Baker has been with the firm since 1995 and became a partner in 2002. Davis Wright has 480 attorneys internationally.
Steve Welch, chief executive officer of Seattle-based Todd Pacific Shipyards Corp., has been elected chairman of the Shipbuilders Council of America, replacing Donald T. Bollinger. Todd Pacific has operations in Seattle, Everett and Bremerton. The council is a national trade association representing the shipyard industry.
The Yakima Valley Visitors and Convention Bureau elected John Cooper president and CEO. Cooper was president and CEO of Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism.

Seattle-based law firm Helsell Fetterman added Nancy C. Elliot, Jake Winfrey and Dan J. Keefe to the Health Care Practice Group. All three were with Reed McClure. Elliot has been named a Super Lawyer by Washington State Law and Politics magazine while Winfrey and Keefe have been named Rising Stars.
Seattle-based Hadley Green Creates, a full service marketing agency, promoted John Rubino to partner and managing director. Rubino has worked for the company for three years. Before that, he ran the global branding and graphic design practice at NBBJ for clients including Boeing, Vulcan and the Port of Seattle.
Seattle-based Prepared Response, a developer of crisis management planning and response systems, hired Thomas J. Miller as vice president of federal sales. Miller has 20 years experience and was assistant to the secretary of the navy before joining the private sector. He will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.
Avenue A / Razorfish, an international interactive services firm, said Darin Brown is the agency's first chief strategy officer. Brown has been with the firm for 10 years. The company is an operating unit of Seattle-based aQuantive.
Bothell-based Dexterra, an international mobile solutions company, hired Leo Jolicoeur as chief operating officer. Jolicoeur was executive vice president and chief marketing officer at @Road.
The Edgewater Hotel hired Rich Troiani as general manager of the Six Seven Restaurant & Lounge. Troiani was responsible for the opening of Kimpton Hotel Group's JSIX/JBAR in San Diego. He also has worked with the Mackay Restaurant Group.
