Seattle law firm Peterson Sullivan hired Rebecca Borek to the firm as director of practice development. Borek has over 15 years of executive sales experience in the banking industry, working with various clients including nonprofits, insurance and professional firms.
Seattle-based McCallum Print Group has completed the acquisition of the graphic assets, clients, programs and equipment of ESP Printing & Mailing of Kent. The 30,000-square-foot Kent location will serve as McCallum Print Group's web printing operation, supporting its 85,000-square-foot Seattle production space which will continue to provide prepress services, digital and sheetfed print production, envelope manufacturing and bindery.
Seattle-based Enprecis, a market research company, hired Viktor Grabner as EVP of engineering and operations. Grabner has spent the past 25 years with Microsoft, where he was general manager of service manageability and quality.

KeyBank's Seattle Private Banking Team hired Nona Battistella as senior vice president and investment solutions specialist. Battistella was director with BNYMellon Wealth Management.
CellCyte Genetics, a biotechnology company in Eastgate, hired Douglas Cerretti as chief science officer and director of business development. Cerretti is a biopharmaceutial research scientist who has worked with Immunex and Amgen. He has authored over 100 scientific publications and holds over 40 issued U.S. patents.
Carl Gilmore, a lawyer in K&L Gates' Seattle office and the newly elected president of The Foundation of the Federal Bar Association, helped recognize U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg as an honorary life fellow of the foundation during a ceremony held earlier this month. Gilmore was elected to a two-year term as foundation president.
Mike Story, former Procter & Gamble director and an expert in manufacturing processes and supply chain management, joined Portland-based Pinnell/Busch to lead the company's Manufacturing Services Division. In his new role, Story is assisting small, mid-size and large manufacturers in improving their existing operations, building new facilities, and starting up new plants and processes. Pinnell/Busch is a construction and project management firm.
Pierce County won a Quality Award for asphalt pavement construction at the Nov. 20 Washington Asphalt Paving Association's 2009 annual meeting. Tucci & Sons of Tacoma, the county's paving contractor, was a joint recipient of the award. The winning project widened 1.7 miles of Canyon Road East, from 116th to 144th streets East. The prime contractor on the project was SCI Infrastructure of Pacific.
