Law firm Oles, Morrison Rinker & Baker named Allen Estes, Bryan Kelley and Chris Butler to partner. They are members of the Construction Litigation and Federal Contracting practice groups in Seattle.
SeaBright Insurance Holdings of Seattle hired Scott Maw as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Maw has 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and was recently senior vice president and CFO of the retail/consumer bank operations of JP Morgan Chase, having held a similar post at Washington Mutual Bank prior to its acquisition by Chase.
Fluid Market Strategies of Portland hired Dan Wildenhaus to the technical management team in its Seattle office. Wildenhaus will provide technical support and training for the Energy Star Homes Northwest Program. He was an instructor in the Seattle Community Colleges system and provided building science consultation and training for Green Dog Enterprises. Fluid is a management, marketing and consulting firm that specializes in energy efficiency, sustainability consulting and education.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy honored seven Oregon and Idaho manufactured housing builders with 2009 Energy Star Leadership in Housing awards. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through energy efficiency. In Oregon, the winners included: Fleetwood Homes in Woodburn, Fuqua Building Systems in Bend, Golden West Homes in Albany, Homebuilders Northwest in Salem, Marlette Homes in Hermiston and Palm Harbor Homes of Oregon in Millersburg. In Idaho, the winner was Nashua Homes of Idaho in Boise. The winners built more than 70 percent of their homes to Energy Star standards.
The Women in Concrete Alliance, a networking organization for women in the concrete industry, was launched last month at the World of Concrete conference in Las Vegas. FCS Group of Redmond promoted Angie Sanchez Virnoche to principal, Sergey Tarasov to project consultant and Tarae Griffin to marketing coordinator. Sanchez Virnoche is a shareholder with 16 years of experience in financial services for utilities. Tarasov specializes in utility rate design and financial feasibility analysis. Griffin is responsible for updating the firm's Web site and collateral, coordinating rosters and proposals, organizing conference and trade show activities, and supporting business development efforts.
Law firm Christensen O'Connor Johnson Kindness hired two attorneys to the firm's IP Litigation Practice. Michael Zachary is a member and Michael Matesky is an associate. Both attorneys come to COJK from the Seattle office of Klarquist Sparkman.
Bellevue-based SinglePoint, a provider of mobile interactivity and SMS advertising services, hired Gowri Shankar as president and CEO. Shankar joined the company in 2001 and was senior vice president, sales and business development. Shankar has previously worked with Sprint and eAssist.
