The Port of Everett hired Les Reardanz as chief administrative officer, the highest staff position at the port. He will begin his duties in January. Reardanz is currently the municipal legal advisor at the city of Bellingham and project manager for the city's Waterfront District Development, a joint effort with the Port of Bellingham.
Banner Bank hired Jodi Danielson as vice president/retail division manager at the Bellevue Corporate Center. Danielson has 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Banner Bank, she worked for Horizon Bank and KeyBank.
The Seattle law firm of Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson hired Lori Rath as of counsel. Rath has had a solo practice since 2004 and practices in the areas of estate planning, trusts, probate and prenuptial/postnuptial/domestic partnership agreements.

Vulcan Real Estate, developer of Veer Lofts, says it has sold all the condos in the 99-unit project at 401 Ninth Ave. N. in Seattle. According to public documents, sale prices ranged from $226,000 to $572,000. The average per square foot sales price was $444, according to Vulcan. Matrix Real Estate marketed the condos, which were completed two years ago. Johnson Architecture & Planning designed Veer, and Walsh Construction was the general contractor.

HomeStreet Bank will open a new home loan center early next year in Lynnwood at 19405 44th Ave. W. Rich Bennion, residential lending director for the bank, said Seattle-based HomeStreet plans to open more home loan centers over the next 18 months.
Seattle-based Colliers International acquired a controlling interest in The Winbury Group in Kansas City. The firm will operate as Colliers International Kansas City. This is the ninth local commercial real estate firm in the country to be acquired and rebranded by Colliers in the past year, according to CoStar Group. Winbury has more than 100 staff members. The company had been a Grubb & Ellis affiliate.

Seattle-based Baristas Coffee Co. hired Thomas Metzger as chief operating officer and added him to the board of directors. Metzger has served as chief executive officer, president or chief operating officer for restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck, Sizzler Steakhouses and Boston Market. Baristas was formed to create a national brand of drive-thru espresso stands.
Mayor Mike McGinn named Theresa Fujiwara to the Seattle Public Library board of trustees. Fujiwara has 35 years of experience in the public and private sectors in health and human services, and is strategy and policy adviser for the White Center Community Development Association. She replaces Michael Parham, whose term ended in April.
Gov. Chris Gregoire appointed alumnus Dick Thompson to Western Washington University's board of trustees. Thompson's term ends in September of 2015. Thompson served as state budget director under Gov. Gary Locke, and director of government relations and interim athletic director at the University of Washington.
International law firm Dorsey & Whitney named two new partners in the Seattle office, effective Jan. 1. They are Shawn Larsen-Bright and Douglas Stewart.
