Fairwood Golf & Country Club

Paino

Anthony Paino was named general manager of Fairwood Golf & Country Club in Renton. Paino has more than 10 years of private club management, marketing and operations experience. He was general manager of Columbia Tower Club in Seattle and clubhouse manager at Argyle Country Club in Silver Spring, Maryland. Fairwood is managed by Troon Prive.

North Seattle College

Brown

Warren Brown, president of North Seattle College, was selected for a Fulbright scholarship that pairs U.S. and Russian community college leaders for a two-week exchange of knowledge in Russia. Brown is scheduled to visit Kazan, Cheboksary and Moscow starting Saturday. The program is designed to strengthen international cooperation, and focuses on the role of community colleges in higher education and the local community.

Phytelligence

Seattle-based agricultural biotechnology company Phytelligence added Peter Viss as vice president of global sales for nuts, hops and new crops. Viss has experience with tissue culture strategy, research and variety development with organizations such as Plant Genetics, Plant Research Laboratory, Brooding Bee and Honey Co., Dave Wilson Nursery and High Desert Ag.

Lincoln Property opens Seattle office

Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. already has an office in Portland, and now it's adding a Seattle office headed by native son J.P. Harlow, as senior VP of LPC West, which spans Seattle, Portland, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Harlow was with PNC Realty Investors. Lincoln provided management services for Starwood Capital Group's 300 Pine, which has converted several floors in the downtown Macy's building to offices for Amazon. Lincoln also recently paid $33 million for two blocks at Esterra Park in Redmond, where it's planning four buildings with 658 units on the almost 4.6-acre site.

Skanska promotes Gunter

Gunter

Christian Gunter has been promoted to VP of development for Skanska USA's commercial development operations in Seattle. He has been with the firm for five years, working on Alley 111 in Bellevue and 2+U, a high rise under construction in downtown Seattle.

CBRE sells Tri-Cities apartments



CBRE's team of Phil Oester, Eli Hanacek, Joe Nydahl and Josh McDonald represented the seller of Badger Mountain Ranch, a 176-unit garden apartment complex in Richland. The seller was an LLC related to The Wolff Co., and the buyer was Starboard Realty Advisors of Irvine, California. The price wasn't announced, and Benton County hasn't yet recorded the sale. The assessed value is about $23 million. Wolff developed the five buildings at 451 Westcliffe Blvd. in 2013. CBRE says the apartments are 98 percent occupied.

Wallace hires Kate Hasz

Hasz

Bellevue-based Wallace Properties named Kate Hasz executive VP of portfolio services. She will lead the property and asset management division. The 30-year industry veteran has experience in both landlord and tenant representation, and moves from CBRE.

URG adds Bainbridge tenants

Urban Renaissance Group announced two new tenants for Island Village Shopping Center: First Federal Bank and Paws & Fins Pet Shop. The 97,000-square-foot shopping center was acquired by Joshua Green Corp. in 2001 as part of a $15.6 million portfolio sale. In 2012, Joshua Green acquired a majority stake in URG for $50 million, and they merged their portfolios. Other tenants in the shopping center include Safeway, Starbucks, Wells Fargo and Verizon.
