Although Facebook/Meta has slowed its hiring pace for engineers this year, you wouldn't know it at the Spring District. During a recent weekend visit, Wright Runstad's 36-acre development was busy with development on three different quadrants for that tenant. More on that below.
Bellevue Brewing Co. hadn't yet opened when I rode my bike around the campus last Saturday morning. A few apartment dwellers were walking their dogs, leash in one hand, coffee in the other. For those residential buildings, clustered on the south end of the district, Amazon trucks were making their delivery rounds. (Not yet by drone or robot, it must be said.) There were no students evident at the GIX building. But again — Saturday.
